It’s the little touches that make a wedding and one thing that I am insisting on is linen napkins with napkin rings that match the feel of my wedding.
Having seen these on pinterest and loving them but needing to keep to a tight budget, I am making my own similar ones.
I found a hessian and lace ribbon in our local pound shop so stocked up!
I cut it into 7.5 inch lengths. As the ribbon was quite bent I got the iron out. Important note here – Don’t iron the lace side. The lace melted as soon as the iron touched it!
Once ironed, I took the strips, wrapped them around a bottle to ensure uniformity and glued them together using my cool glue gun.
I simply slid them off the bottle and was left with these.
These are quick, cheap and easy to make. I’m going to decorate them further with beads, buttons and flowers. You’ll see the final results when I post my wedding decoration photos in September!
